Our Little Monkey!

Leo's just starting to figure out how to use his hands and spending much of his waking time trying to stuff both fists in his mouth at the same time!
He saw himself in the mirror today and was fascinated with his reflection. Given that he's only just figured out that he has hands, he probably doesn't recognise his own reflection yet. But, perhaps I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and pretend he now has the intelligence of a great ape! Well done son!

Leo has a morning routine at school, where he takes off his coat and shoes, puts his snack in a box and answers the 'question of the day'. Today, his question was, Which animal starts with the letter 'F'? a) Duck; or b) Fish. Leo answered the question quickly and then said "If 'Duck' started with an 'F', it would sound like F***!" He was a little bemused by the snorts of laughter from Kelly. Luckily even his teacher, Mrs Corcoran, found it funny.

Flying with Aunt Cathy

Leo was very taken by Aunt Cathy when she came to visit today and I think it's safe to say that she was besotted with his cherub-cheeks. They had a wonderful time playing together bouncing on the trampoline, playing in the sand and learning to fly, but in the end a tired boy just needs his mama...
