R.I.P. Pippin

It was a sad day today as Pippin finally had to be put down. He was my first car and has done me proud for the last 16 years! In need of some welding work, he failed his MOT, and the cost of repairs were more than he was worth - at least to everyone else. We've had some great times in that car and his memory will live on. Rest in peace Pippin. x

Leo has a morning routine at school, where he takes off his coat and shoes, puts his snack in a box and answers the 'question of the day'. Today, his question was, Which animal starts with the letter 'F'? a) Duck; or b) Fish. Leo answered the question quickly and then said "If 'Duck' started with an 'F', it would sound like F***!" He was a little bemused by the snorts of laughter from Kelly. Luckily even his teacher, Mrs Corcoran, found it funny.

Leo was very taken by Aunt Cathy when she came to visit today and I think it's safe to say that she was besotted with his cherub-cheeks. They had a wonderful time playing together bouncing on the trampoline, playing in the sand and learning to fly, but in the end a tired boy just needs his mama...
