Introducing Foetoo

We're delighted to announce a tiny new addition to our family! This little bundle of joy weighs about 14 grams and is just over 3 inches long. Loving known as "Foetoo" for the moment, he/she is due at the end of March 2009. Leo seems quite excited by it all and often kisses mummy's tummy, calling Foetoo "Baby in dere".
Thankfully the first three months have been fairly kind to Mary and she's looking forward to cravings of sushi and ice cream during her second trimester!

Duck Fish

Leo has a morning routine at school, where he takes off his coat and shoes, puts his snack in a box and answers the 'question of the day'. Today, his question was, Which animal starts with the letter 'F'? a) Duck; or b) Fish. Leo answered the question quickly and then said "If 'Duck' started with an 'F', it would sound like F***!" He was a little bemused by the snorts of laughter from Kelly. Luckily even his teacher, Mrs Corcoran, found it funny.

Flying with Aunt Cathy

Leo was very taken by Aunt Cathy when she came to visit today and I think it's safe to say that she was besotted with his cherub-cheeks. They had a wonderful time playing together bouncing on the trampoline, playing in the sand and learning to fly, but in the end a tired boy just needs his mama...
