Oliver's Homecoming Present

After a few days in hospital, we welcomed Ollie home for the first time on wednesday afternoon. Leo was delighted to show him around the house. He was even more delighted when he found out that Ollie had bought him a slide as a homecoming present. Leo's very proud of his new slide and keen to show everyone his prowess, as Nana found out in the following clip. As our little lion cub, Leo is naturally fond of other cats. Unfortunately those feelings are not mutual!

Leo has a morning routine at school, where he takes off his coat and shoes, puts his snack in a box and answers the 'question of the day'. Today, his question was, Which animal starts with the letter 'F'? a) Duck; or b) Fish. Leo answered the question quickly and then said "If 'Duck' started with an 'F', it would sound like F***!" He was a little bemused by the snorts of laughter from Kelly. Luckily even his teacher, Mrs Corcoran, found it funny.

Leo was very taken by Aunt Cathy when she came to visit today and I think it's safe to say that she was besotted with his cherub-cheeks. They had a wonderful time playing together bouncing on the trampoline, playing in the sand and learning to fly, but in the end a tired boy just needs his mama...
