Dado's Birthday

It was my Dad's (currently known by Izzy as "Dado") birthday on Tuesday. To thank him for all the help he's been giving us recently, we held a Sunday roast lunch in his honour for the whole family. But, before lunch, we did manage to rope him into some hard labour in the garden! He had a wonderful afternoon surrounded by his two grandchildren, although guess who hogged all the cuddles!

Leo has a morning routine at school, where he takes off his coat and shoes, puts his snack in a box and answers the 'question of the day'. Today, his question was, Which animal starts with the letter 'F'? a) Duck; or b) Fish. Leo answered the question quickly and then said "If 'Duck' started with an 'F', it would sound like F***!" He was a little bemused by the snorts of laughter from Kelly. Luckily even his teacher, Mrs Corcoran, found it funny.

Flying with Aunt Cathy

Leo was very taken by Aunt Cathy when she came to visit today and I think it's safe to say that she was besotted with his cherub-cheeks. They had a wonderful time playing together bouncing on the trampoline, playing in the sand and learning to fly, but in the end a tired boy just needs his mama...
