Ollie's Cot

Ollie was getting a bit too big for his Moses basket, so seven months after we'd ordered it, we finally assembled his cot. Leo was brilliant at helping put it together and I was quite surprised at how tight he managed to get the screws. Given his previous DIY experience, I guess I should have expected it.

Both boys were very excited by the new cot - let's just hope Ollie manages to fall asleep in it.

Leo has a morning routine at school, where he takes off his coat and shoes, puts his snack in a box and answers the 'question of the day'. Today, his question was, Which animal starts with the letter 'F'? a) Duck; or b) Fish. Leo answered the question quickly and then said "If 'Duck' started with an 'F', it would sound like F***!" He was a little bemused by the snorts of laughter from Kelly. Luckily even his teacher, Mrs Corcoran, found it funny.

Flying with Aunt Cathy

Leo was very taken by Aunt Cathy when she came to visit today and I think it's safe to say that she was besotted with his cherub-cheeks. They had a wonderful time playing together bouncing on the trampoline, playing in the sand and learning to fly, but in the end a tired boy just needs his mama...
